600mm Orange OPGW Cable Aerial Protection Sphere
Power line marker balls are made of Fiberglass reinforced plastics which have a diameter of about 600mm and 800mm all designed to meet customer’s needs. The diameter should, however, not be below 600mm.
The power balls could be of different colors; that are white, orange or red. However, a single power ball is constructed to have only one solid color.The color that is chosen for a particular power line is determined by the background against which it is seen. In this case, the color chosen should contrast with the background and thus help ensure security.

Drain holes structure can prevent accumulated rainwater inside the spheres. Accumulated water will increase the weight of the marker balls which will be dangerous to the power lines.
Optional Reflective tape is more durable and economical solution for night visibility
Both sphere diameters of 600mm and 800mm are available. This all depend on the preferences or budget of the customer.
Various size of cable clamps are available to fit for customers’ cable conductor
Aluminum alloy cable clamp guarantees good corrosion resistance. There can be no cases of electrical faults due to the marker balls.
Fiberglass Reinforced Polymer durable material with better weather resistant. They can thus withstand any weather condition without affecting their structure.

Can be used with gay line cables as well as communication lines. You can also use these power line marker balls in other places such as warning planes about existing wires
Power line marker balls are also great for use in high power transition lines
Important in protecting electrical infrastructure from airplanes especially when flying low
Act as a guide pilots at a particular place where they can land. After seeing the power lines balls, the pilot can tell whether or not they are close the place where they intended to land.
More often than not, you will find these balls in areas which are away from cities and towns. This is the areas where there is nothing much to show the pilot that there is a power line ahead.
This is because the skyline and the conductor become invisible to the pilots when they are against the terrain.
They are an aerial warning that the power lines are there.
